Plastic Platon

Two beings evolve through their bodies in order to break out of them. Scratching their skin, turning it inside out, putting it on like a glove, they play with gender to the point of losing the notion of feminine/masculine. They reach for something grotesque, search for Drag Kings & Queens and turn the body into a Platonic banquet with 4 arms, 4 legs, 3 genders or not and a thousand faces.
In this project created as part of the Vive le Sujet of the Festival d'Avignon 2021, Juglair and Julien Fanthou cross their universes, their disciplines and their inspirations to play with our binarities!
