Alogte Oho & his Sounds of Joy
Alogte Oho & his Sounds of Joy (GH)
TRADITIONAL
Le Grand Canyon- -
As a child, Alogte Oho dreamed of joining the church choir. He entered the choir at 13 and became a Frafra-Gospel star. But at the age of 20, a serious accident led him to the hospital where he wrote his hit song, "Mam Yinne Wa". In 2013, Max Weissenfeldt, a German producer, went to Bolgatanga, the capital of Frafra. When he got off the bus, a song by Alogte was played at high volume. Seduced, he made an appointment with the artist. After a few studio sessions, a first single was released, which quickly became a new anthem.
