Anouar Kaddour Chérif Quartet

After his project EL MIZAN, the Algerian songwriter Anouar Kaddour Chérif is willing to unveil his new project on our stage. His album Djawla ("ballad" in Arabic) tells the story of a journey laced with music. Living in Switzerland since his early twenties, he turns his exile into a harmonic quest in which he recounts the mysteries of our world and how music saves from the double absence of being undocumented. Anouar delivers an intimate and powerful first album that explores raw sensations, sunless winters and the joy of encounters that make all the difference.
